Sunan Ibn Majah
The sixth of the Kutub al-Sittah. Contains hadith not found in the other five collections. Some scholars historically debated its inclusion, preferring Muwatta Malik as the sixth canonical work.
Hadith
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Cleanliness is half of faith; al-hamdu-lillah fills the scale; subhan-Allah and al-hamdu-lillah fill what is between the heavens and the earth.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah loves that when one of you does something, he does it with excellence (itqan).'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good …
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you. Know Allah in times of prosperity and He will know you in times of adversity.'
